It can store compressed as well as uncompressed files so there is no worry about losing data and the dual card slots take SD as well as CF cards, for additional backup. The Nikon D300s stores data in RAW, TIFF and JPEG, so no compression necessary and the in-built pop-up flash will give up to 12m at 100ISO. With a comprehensive movie mode, fullframe as well as thumbnail playback, images can easily be reviewed.
