At Harrison Cameras, we believe in supporting the people and communities around us. That's why we're proud to support Team Ryan as they work to raise £5,000 to help with the challenges of living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND/ALS).
As part of our support, Harrison Cameras has sponsored and paid for T-shirts to be printed for Team Ryan, helping the team come together and raise awareness while fundraising for an incredibly important cause.
Supporting Ryan and His Family
Ryan was diagnosed with slow limb-onset Motor Neurone Disease (MND/ALS), a life-changing diagnosis that has brought significant challenges for Ryan, his partner Kelly and their young daughter, Connie.
MND is a progressive condition that can affect movement, communication and independence. As Ryan's condition progresses, the family will face increasing practical and financial challenges, from mobility equipment and home adaptations to the additional support required to make everyday life easier.
The fundraising campaign aims to help reduce some of that financial pressure and give Ryan and his family the support they need during an incredibly difficult time.
Helping Create Precious Family Memories
For Ryan and Kelly, one of the most important priorities is their daughter, Connie.
While Connie knows about her dad's diagnosis, the family wants to protect her childhood and allow her to enjoy the things that every child should be able to enjoy – friendship, laughter, adventures and making happy memories with her family.
The money raised through the Team Ryan fundraiser will help towards practical disability support, equipment and adaptations, while also helping the family make the most of their time together.
As the family puts it, time has become their most precious gift.
