Viking Peregrine ED 10x Binoculars have extra low dispersion glass which really helps with stray light and fringing, which can be annoying when looking at tiny subjects at a distance. More expensive than the standard glass used in optics, the light gathering power of these binoculars is terrific.
Multicoated optics protect the lenses from dust and dirt, which means that they stay clear no matter what the weather throws at you. The Peregrine Binoculars are finished in a smooth rubber armouring, so they are really comfortable to hold, even when wearing gloves and the longer barrels give a secure grip for customers with larger hands.
Fantastic for using in low light, the Peregrine ED glasses will work really well at dusk and dawn, when the light is poor and on winter days when the weather is really bad. Excellent colour rendition and no fringing, the 4 BAK prisms are dielectric coated, which is a system of coating that can provide reflectivity of more than 99% across the spectrum. The 10 year warranty that Viking have confiently put on the Peregrine 10x42 binoculars, just shows how confident they are in the manufacture and you can rest assured that the binoculars will give pleasure for years to come.
Supplied with a rainguard, strap and case.

Chose these after plenty of reviews and YouTube videos of these and other binoculars. I am very happy with my binoculars, they are very sharp once the diopter has been adjusted, just the right weight and size and rubberised finish makes these look high quality
Very pleased with these, prompt service from Harrison cameras. Lightweight.
Smooth focus, bright image.
Case is a bit of a letdown but I use a rucksack so not an issue for me.
The Peregrines are my first ‘proper’ pair of binoculars. Fantastic optics! Could not be happier.
After doing a LOT of research I narrowed it down to 2 pairs… I trialed them against the Nikon Monarch 5 (same price) and found the Vikings were a better match for me.
After lots of reading on-line reviews and Youtube films during lockdown, I thought the Viking Peregrine 10x42ED binoculars would be a good choice. I was not able to compare other brands/ specifications in person. Nearly went for a different brand, but decided life is too short to wait for fewer COVID restrictions to try out.
I'm delighted to say the Viking Peregrine's have proven to be an excellent buy. I use them predominantly for birdwatching, and also oberving nature. They give a nice bright view, despite the extra magnification over an 8X pair. The look and feel good, even my other half likes them (hands off girl!!!).
The online buying experience with Harrison's Cameras was ecellent. Easy to use website, fast despatch and delivery was quicker than expaected. I would recommend this company with no hesitation.
Light, easy to focus. Spotted barn owl and lapwings on first outing. Good value for a quality product that will last, enhancing my dog walks and fishing trips. Came first in independent newspaper review of 10 binoculars. Very pleased
