The Saramonic SmartMic5 Di is a unidirectional micro-shotgun microphone with a MFi Certified Lightning output that captures crystal clear, directional, broadcast-quality sound. It plugs directly into the Lightning port of iPhones and iPads making it easy to add a compact yet high-quality directional microphone and drastically improve the sound over the device’s included microphone.

The SmartMic5 Di features a 2.36 x 0.43” (6 x 1.1cm) interference tube and a unidirectional polar-pattern. Designed to focus on the sound in front of the microphone, while attenuating sounds from the sides and rear. Because of its longer interference tube, it also allows you to move farther away from the microphone and still get a detailed and full-frequency sound.
