Elmer D.

The Mindshift Backlight 36L is quite an expensive backpack so I thought long and hard about whether to go for it or not but I need not have worried. It is a beautifully made product and exactly what I needed for my camera gear. Here is a list of what I have in the bag at present:
Nikon D750
Nikon D3
Tamron 150-600mm G2
Tamron SP 20-40 f2.7-3.5
Tamron 70-210mm f4
Nikon 28-70mm f2.8
The Tamron 70-210mm lens is too tall to fit in the bag vertically. Horizontally it was rattling about so I made a cradle for it with one of the dividers and it's perfect. There's space underneath the lens for oddments so if you had the f2.8 version of this focal length I'm sure it would fit. There is still some space left for chargers or flash. I have tried my 14" laptop in the special pocket and it fits perfectly. All of this stuff is very heavy but the bag is comfortable to wear, with the hip belt actually sitting on my hips helping to spread the weight. All in all I could not be more pleased with the bag. It's expensive but worth it.
