These Hawke 10x42 Frontier ED X Green Binoculars give superb results because of the use of extra-low dispersion glass which are multi-coated for optimum clarity and colour rendition. The optics have been designed to reduce chromatic aberrations and stray light which combine together to give poor image quality in lesser lenses. The 42mm objective lens allows plenty of light onto the prisms which have dielectric coatings which increase the reflectivity of light, making the end image much brighter to the eye.
The 10x42 X Frontier Binoculars have been ergonomically designed with the focus knob being in the perfect position for easy use even when wearing gloves and as it only takes 1.5 turns of the focusing wheel, the Frontier binoculars easily focus between it's closest point of 6.6ft/2m to infinity. The 10 times magnification means that nothing need be missed and due to the 42mm objective lenses, there is no problem with reduced light input.
The Frontier ED X Binoculars have a water repellent coating on the objective lenses ensuring that the unit can be used in the rain as well as water and fog proofing for reassurance when out in an absolute down pour and the lightweight rubber coated magnesium alloy chassis makes these Frontier binoculars rugged. The rubber coating gives great confidence when handling the binoculars as they feel secure in the hand.
Includes stay-on lens covers for maximum lens protection and peace of mind and replaceable twist-up eyecups with position stops. The eye cups can be used twisted up when not wearing glasses or locked down if you are a spectacle wearer. The dioptre correction is easy to fix and once sorted, stays locked in position.
These binoculars come with a high quality hard case, with space to store a strap and cleaning cloth, removable shoulder strap for the case, padded neck strap, objective lens covers and an ocular rain-guard cover. A belt loop and note pocket on the rear of the supplied bag, make it exceptionally useful.

This is my first pair of 'proper' binoculars. I'm blown away by the clarity of the optics on these, far better than I expected. I honestly can't see why you'd need to spend big money on Zeiss or Leica when you can get this quality at this price point. Perfectly happy with my purchase.
These glasses are wonderful, so glad I paid the extra for the ED X, the optics are so clear and bright compared to my previous binoculars. Nice a light and very easy to use. The added bits in the box are very useful, I like the flip down lens covers.
Highly delighted with my purchase, my father in law purchased the ED X 8x 42's, he loves them
Bought for watching the red kites at Rockingham, everything I wanted and needed
An excellent pair of binnoculars - good all round performance and comfortable in the hand. Focusing is smooth and accurate at all distances. The closest distance will allow viewing of butterflies and other small objects. These binnoculars can also be used by spectacle wearers (as I do) with very little restriction to the field of view. I'm very happy with them.
