I am shooting with the XE1 body. I originally went down this route to compliment my Canon 5DMKII. The Fuji being a lighter weight less obtrusive option for travel & street photography. However I find myself using the Fuji mirrorless camera more and more and am consistently impressed with the results. Canon's 85mm f/1.2 is probably the best known medium telephoto with a maximum aperture of f/1.2 and that costs around £1700!!!! I don't own this lens. But have always wanted an 85mm equiv large aperture lens. So at £899 it was time to take the plunge. Having just used this at a family 80th birthday party. I don't regret it. This lens is a fantastic addition to the X-series lens line up. It is incredibly sharp when stopped down, and performs well wide open too. Highly recommended if your into a bit a portrait photography.
