Dorr HB-36 Replacement Lens Hood is for the Nikon 70-300mm VR Lens. Prevents unwanted stray light from entering the lens by shading and extending the end of the lens, this minimizes flare and ghosting. Also serves as a lens protector against accidental impacts.

A good replacement for the Nikon HB 36, it does the job. However, it does not click into place like the Nikon product- rather it jams into place, which can be disconcerting.
First rate service from Harrison’s , the carrier couldn’t deliver the item, so they arranged for it to be redelivered
