Very good value. Purchased as ‘run. about’ pair these well made binoculars are optically very impressive. I can detect little difference between this pair and another I have (too expensive to lose!) I could not afford to replace. The strap is rudimentary and, curiously, the eye cups are fixed as all my earlier binoculars were. No matter. For under 100 GBP these are worth every penny.
I have had a variety of binoculars – Swift, Mirador last century, Leica more recently. I wanted an affordable pair now since I am growing absent minded and have had some narrow squeaks leaving valuable kit here and there. I have a jaded view of insurance! I bought a pair of these based on a hunch alone. They are very good optically (compared to Leica), well made and extraordinarily nice to handle. Lack of extendable eye cups doesn't bother me and I suspect most eye glasses wearers would cope. I have yet to try them out in low light or bad weather but care is always up to the user. The case and strap are basic but if you do a lot of tramping the hills you won't mind wear on something that isn't exactly Lou*s Vuit!on precious.
As I say I have had several pairs of binoculars over forty odd years and these impress.
