Nikon have featured 19 elements in 15 groups, including 2 ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements, 1 aspherical ED element, 2 aspherical elements. The glass elements have been strategically arranged to ensure there is a significant reduction of optical aberrations. Elements with an ARNEO coat work to prevent effects of ghosting and flare when working with bright light sources/backlit situations. With the Nikon 24-200mm, you can be assured that optimum image quality is reached throughout the zoom range, with edge-to-edge sharpness and clear, vivid reproduction of details.
