Sony Alpha A7 Mark II Digital Camera Body offers outstanding image quality in a compact size and light build with the 24.3 effective megapixel 35mm full-frame Exmor CMOS sensor.
The A7 Mark II provides optical image stabilisation equivalent to up to 4.5 steps faster shutter speed of correction for still images. Shooting sharp handheld stills and video is now possible under conditions which may require a tripod in the past. The Sony A7 II allows you to use your favourite E-mount and A-mount lenses and when using E-mount lenses with optical stabilisation the A7 II combined the best in-lens and in-camera stabilisation.
When your subject is moving fast you can stunningly capture the decisive moment with sharp and well-exposed results via 5fps continuous AF/AE shooting. The robust magnesium alloy body is extremely compact and lightweight is solidly built to withstand the rigours of shooting in the field. The A7 II packs in powerful movie-making capabilities in extremely compact dimensions.
You can create movies of breathtaking visual and sound quality with exquisite background blur, clear details and the sensitivity to bring dark scenes to life.
The high performance Fast Hybrid AF system delivers extremely high-speed response, highly accurate prediction and wide area coverage for autofocusing and tracking you can always depend on. BIONZ X reproduces textures and details in real time as seen by the naked eye via extra high-speed processing capabilities. Together with front-end Large Scale Integration which accelerates processing, it enables more natural details, more realistic images, richer tonal gradations and lower noise.
The grip has been refined in shape and height to support a more secure grasp of the camera even when a large lens is mounted. This also contributes to a much more confident operation of the shutter and dials. The viewfinder offers impressive visibility which contributes to stress-free, intuitive operation.
You can accuralety monitor what will appear in your final images because it displays the effects of your various camera settings.
