Description
The thing that defines this frame is its depth. Almost a box frame, the picture sits at the back leaving approximately 3/4 of an inch of the frame in front of it, which pulls the eye towards the photo; it really is very effective. Although the surround is wide enough for the frame to stand upright on it, there is a strong strut at the back which tilts the frame backwards to show the image a bit more clearly. The strut is held to the back of the frame with a piece of black ribbon, which proofs it against collapsing in a heap when it is 10 years old! The light beech effect finish gives the frame a light airy feel and the image is fixed into the Zurigo by four metal sprung clips. The frame can also be hung on a wall by using the metal folded hook on the back, which can be moved to display the photo in landscape or portrait mode.
