Leica M-P (240) Digital Rangefinder Black Paint Camera lives up to the success of the legendary M9-P - with even stronger differentiation to the basic model. New features of the M-P feature a scratch-resistant 3.0" 920k-dot LCD Monitor display made of sapphire glass which allows live view monitoring with the ability to utilize focus peaking and a 2GB image buffer which allows you to shoot up to 24 images in full continuous speed of 3 frames per second. The M-P has a pure and discreet look without the Leica logo and 'M' lettering - however it does still have the classic Leica engraving on the top plate. It also features manual viewfinder frame selection with the traditional frame selector which allows bright-line rames for six different focal lengths to be projected into the viewfinder to simulate subject framing. The corresponding frames are then shown in pairs for the focal lengths 28 and 90mm, 35 and 135mm or 50 and 75mm. This avoids the need to change lenses and also provides great freedom with your photography.
The Leica M-P combines the improvements on the Leica M (240) model, the features of the latest Leica M Firmware and the popular P-Version design elements. All embodied to create one of the best Leica M camera ever made. The M-P features a MAX 24MP CMOS Sensor, this camera is able to produce high-resolution still imagery and also full HD video with marked image quality and low noise levels. When combined with the Maestro Image processor, a sensitivity range of ISO 200-6400 is available, which can be further be expanded to ISo 100 for working in brighter conditions. This Rangefinder camera also features a 0.68x optical viewfinder with split and superimposed manual focusing, automatic parallax correction, and manual image field selection.
